Belonging to the smaller variety of pears, Forelle pears are bell-shaped, rounded fruits with a short neck and a waxy sheen. These pears have a dense, moist, cream-colored flesh, and are crisp with sweet and tangy flavor. They make for a great snack and can be eaten raw or added to salads. The Forelle variety is rich in fiber and potassium.
